Subject: Your MERP and e-Learning products

Your marketing breakthrough this summer based on your proposal to Purdue CEE, Continuing Engineering Education (through me) has been based on working with MBE-Simulation�s simulator for the last three years. The effectiveness and positive educational impact convinced us that your educational solution is ahead of the market. Now we have taken the next pioneering step, applying your simulator in a new e-Learning, Internet based and CD-ROM based course.

This e-Learning is offered in our on-going summer program with over 70 students from major industries throughout North America (see the list of participants), and the recent success of our course is proof that the market is just becoming mature enough for it.� Expanding it in the nearest future based on the previous marketing efforts to universities in the USA must be done now, and will require your expertise. You will now have to address some implementation barriers, e.g., firewalls, weakness of a minority of students to apply computers, new professor features and versions that you have developed "hot" while we are learning from the current experience. But overall, it is a success and promises to go further. There are already positive comments from the students. The biggest factor is that in last year�s initial experiment with MERP on campus, out of 30 participants from our engineering departments at Purdue, MERP was the one clearest feature the students asked to expand from one project to four! Based on that great success may be the CEE will be convinced that MERP is a critical ingredient in the e-Learning for industry.

Your marketing efforts to Asia and Europe should also develop, but you need even larger budget to do it right.� You and your people have to come here to the US and go to Asia too. In both markets there is right now a huge opportunity for your MERP e-Learning products. So far, the initial steps are promising, and you already have many of the critical leads.
